Expected Impact

This project is expected to obtain strong results in the fields of opportunistic networking, publish/subscribe distributed architectures, community modelling, massively scalable information distribution.

All partners believe that CROWD is an appealing service with a strong potential to reshape our esocial habits. Technical feasibility of large scale deployment of DTN and publish/subscribe based applications are not yet ascertained. We genuinely hope that this project will generate enough research advances and turn these results into a convincing proof of concept to foster industrial take up and further development.
